Affiliates
The Affiliates Program was established to provide the advantages of business incubation to IT companies, who are not tenants of the Target Technology Center facility, but who would benefit from the services provided through the Center. Affiliates may take advantage of a corporate address, a professional staff, a supportive client network, access to industry related seminars, linkages to the University of Maine, and use of professional office space.

Business Development Services
As an affiliate member of the Target Technology Incubator, a company benefits from the many services offered through a variety of business development organizations and the University of Maine. The Incubator provides a "one-stop-shop" for everything an information technology company needs to achieve their goals.
Facility Services
Affiliate members can benefit from use of the Target facility. Conference rooms can be reserved for meetings. The affiliates desk is available as a (temporary) work area. Affiliates may use the Target Center as a mail drop for business related correspondence.
Education Opportunities
The Target Technology Incubator offers a broad range of business development seminars specifically designed to meet the needs of tech-based companies. The seminar series provides valuable information, education, resources and networking opportunities to technology companies. Attendance is FREE OF CHARGE to affiliate members!

The benefits of networking with companies in the same industry at varying stages of development is critical to a company's success. Affiliate members are notified of opportunities and events that provide valuable networking opportunities!
Visibility
The Target Technology Incubator at the University of Maine is regarded as a critical component in the state's efforts to stimulate economic development through technology development and commercialization. Affiliation with the Target Technology Incubator will afford a company critical exposure and marketing opportunities. Affiliate members are listed on the Target Technology Incubator website with direct links to THEIR websites!
Memberships
Memberships to the Maine State Chamber of Commerce and the Maine International Trade Center are offered to affiliate members at reduced costs!
Raising Capital
Target staff is well versed in financing opportunities for technology businesses and works closely with affiliates to identify the best opportunities for success. Staff will work with affiliate members to package successful applications!

GudMuse is a business created by UMaine professor, Dr. Stuart Marrs. He uses advanced technology to create instructional DVDs for music students, artists, schools, and classical music aficionados. GudMuse’s first product, Stuart Marrs on Elliott Carter: Eight Pieces for Four Timpani, is an innovative instructional video combining interactive, multi-angle video performance of the set of eight pieces with an in-depth voice-over performing artist's commentary as well as PDF articles about the works by percussion scholars.
